This November, Brickworks is fundraising for “Movember”. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept of “Movember”, it is a cause in which donations are raised for prostate cancer. The rules for Movember are fairly simple, in that on November 1st one is clean-shaven and must grow a moustache for the entire month to show their support.
Here at Brickworks, the boys will be growing moustaches for the entire month in an effort to help us raise donations. I will be posting pictures of their moustache progress periodically over the next couple weeks!
If you want to help us raise awareness for prostate cancer, please go to http://bit.ly/bgJhRg to make a donation to our team, the “Bearded Brickworkers”. Our ultimate goal is to raise $1000 for the cause and to do that, we need your help! If you want to contribute to this amazing cause, please make your donations online, or if you’re close to our location at 429 Elizabeth Street in Burlington, please stop by and contribute to our donation box and have your picture taken with our “Bearded Brickworker Moustache”.
Remember – prostate cancer is the most prevalent cancer among men and can strike at any age. In fact, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed in their lifetime. Your donations are very much appreciated!
